Do I return to the Master Race?

The Mater Race, in case you didn't know, is a gamer who use a computer to play games instead of consoles. I used to be one of them but after blowing up (literally) my computer in my mid teens I never managed to replace it with a powerful enough machine to return.

Recently, well for like 13 years, I have been playing games exclusively on consoles mostly because of costs. Here's the thing you buy a console and you get about 5 to 6 years of gaming without having to upgrade or buy a new console but you are always limited to what they can produce and handle within its games.
Computers can handle a lot more in terms of its gaming such as frame rates, graphics etc... because they can be upgraded to the latest hardware at anytime but this can cost a lot to keep up to date. Additionally there are more ways to play, with different peripherals and a lot of gaming services such as steam and EA's origins service, these also always have great deals on games.

However I do enjoy playing in comfort on the sofa, so there's that.
Now I enjoy buying games from my local gaming shop but since starting this website I am now playing a lot more games a lot quicker so I think it might be better to move back to playing on the PC.
If anyone has any thoughts that could help me make a decision please let me know.
Until next time... Toby
